Arduino meets Unity. A Bluetooth chip connected my Android phone to an Arduino board; the first input was a single potentiometer.
A controller to carry around. Next came a sturdier, portable prototype with two buttons.
The game. You control the time of day in a prehistoric world with the knob. By day the cavemen gather wood; at night they retreat to their cave, burn the wood to stay warm, and their numbers grow. It is a balance: gather enough, but chop too long and the tigers eat them.
