Two prospectors compete to fill their safes with gold nuggets and anything else of value, in the dusty hills of the Sierra Nevada, the icy peaks of the Klondike or the burning heat of the desert. Neither has any sense of the law: dynamite stuns the other player and blows open their safe, hidden bear traps slow them down, and the horses are for throwing.
Play split-screen on one couch or on two screens, across three levels with secrets to uncover and more than 40 items to steal. Ever wondered how many dollars a snowman is worth? Throw it in your safe and find out.
GOLDRUSHERS was greenlit on Steam and released there on 8 September 2017. The same year it won the Goldener Spatz for Bestes Indie-Game4Kids, the children’s game prize at the Deutsches Kinder-Medien-Festival in Erfurt, picked by a jury of 10- to 12-year-olds (Goldener Spatz 2017).
